More about Tyler

How long have you been working at Savings United and what's your role here?

I have been working with Savings United since December 2019 with the current role of Senior Content Strategy Manager. I manage the sourcing and quality assurance of all voucher codes and promotions for over 100 brands and retailers. Personally, I research market trends and work with our sales team to create valuable content on extra tips on how to get the best price–with or without a discount code.

Would you say you have specialised expertise in a particular area of savings?

As an avid traveller myself, I know what destinations people are looking for and at what price point. I’ve helped UK travellers on over 50,000 holiday bookings through COVID restrictions to now. TUI, First Choice, Hotels.com and Travelodge are just some of the travel agencies I work with.

What I didn’t expect was to also specialise in athletic wear. Over the years, I have worked with JD Sports, Foot Locker, Sports Direct, Mountain Warehouse and countless others. No matter if you just like athleisure clothing, play football or are an avid hiker, I’ve seen it all. Whether it’s through discount codes, underrated sales or comparison shopping across our retailers, you never have to pay full price on sports gear again.

What's your favourite saving tip when it comes to online shopping?

Loyalty programmes. They are free and we have seen several retailers boost the value of joining in 2024. More often than not, you immediately benefit from your first purchase and you’ll only save more in the future.

What I love most about loyalty programmes–unlike sales or other promotions–you can always add a discount code on top of whatever benefits you are receiving.
