How do I use my British Airways discount code?

1. Click on one of our deals. A code will appear in the box if one is required to redeem the discount. Make sure to copy the code.
2. Visit the British Airways online store and book your flight or holiday.
3. Once you have selected your flight, you will automatically be directed to the booking summary. The ‘Apply an eVoucher’ option will be under the flight details.
4. Click add for a box to appear. You must choose ‘Promotional Code’ and paste the code.
5. Apply and your discount will be applied.

What can I expect to save with a British Airways promo code?

Actually, unless you are a Visa Signature card holder travelling from America to London, there are no British Airways codes. This specific promotion is 10% off your flight. Rather, you can save up to £300 on your flight or package holiday through British Airways sales.

What is the baggage allowance at British Airways?

All flights come with hand bags and cabin bags. Economy class does not include a checked bag and must be booked extra with a limit of one checked bag per passenger.  Premium economy and business class can have a total of two checked bags (one is included), while first class members can check 3 bags.

Cabin bags

• Up to 56 x 45 x 25cm (22 x 18 x 10in) - includes wheels and handles

• Up to 23kg (51lb) in Economy and Premium Economy

Infant baggage allowance

Children under the age of two are allowed to check in two of the following items for free: 

• Collapsible pushchair

• Travel cot

How much does British Airways charge for extra baggage?

Prices vary depending on your destination. You can use this calculator to view your baggage allowance and how much it costs to add additional baggage. Overweight luggage comes with a fee of £65 per bag and one-way journey.

Bags over £32kg will not be accepted regardless of the overweight fee.

How can I claim back missing Avios points?

Mistakes happen and it is possible your Avios or Tier Points are not added to your account after a flight. In the small chance this happens, rest assured that you can claim them back up to 6 months after your flight.

Locate the claim form under the ‘Claiming missing Avios’ headline to get your points added onto your account.

Is it worth converting Nectar to Avios points?

Nectar now works with British Airways so you can convert those Nectar Points sitting in your account to Avios points. 400 Nectar points equals 250 Avios, which is good value.

Especially when Nectar sometimes runs promotions like 2x points on your shops at Sainsburys and other locations when you convert Nectar points to Avios.

Cancellation policy

Are British Airways flights refundable?

Flights can be cancelled for a full refund in the first 24 hours following your booking. This protects you if you made a mistake or find another flight you prefer more. After that, you cannot get a refund on your flight aside from a claim through your travel insurance.

Can I change my flight at British Airways?

To make any changes to your booking, you will need to visit the Manage My Booking page. There is also a helpful calculator to estimate the fees associated with purchasing a ticket, changing your booking or cancelling your flight.
