How do I use my First Choice discount code?

1. Click on one of our deals. A code will appear in the box if one is required to redeem the discount. First Choice often releases unique codes. In these cases, we will specify that a unique code will be assigned to you. 
2. Copy the code if it is not unique.
3. Open First Choice and book the package holiday or hotel of your choice. Continue to checkout.
4. Before being able to enter the code, you first must book any extras like seats, upgrades or insurance. 
5. Continue to passenger details and locate the discount code box. Enter your code and click ‘Apply’. If you were provided a unique code, it will be visible at the top of the page.

What can I expect to save with First Choice promo codes?

The average code at First Choice will save you £100, according to our voucher experts. Act quickly if you find a better discount and maybe wait it out if you aren’t saving at least £100. Unless, the holiday is already highly discounted; some deals are as much as £500 off.

Does First Choice have an NHS discount?

No, the NHS discount is only available through TUI’s Holidays for Heroes. You can get an extra £100 off holidays there and even combine the NHS discount with our voucher codes.

Payment

Can you pay in instalments at First Choice?

Yes, there are two ways to pay off your holiday: monthly payments via direct debit or PayPal Credit.

Personally, we recommend direct debit. Direct debit qualifies for the £0 deposit and your cost will be spread across a minimum of three payments. The holiday must be paid off 14 weeks before your holiday starts. 

PayPal credit is also interest-free for the first 4 months. However, we know less about this line of credit and ask you to research more here if you are interested.

How much is the deposit at First Choice?

We already mentioned in the previous FAQ that direct debit bookings come with the option of a £0 deposit. There are other low deposit options at First Choice:

• Short and mid-haul holidays: £65 per person
• Lakes and mountains holidays: £75 per person
• Long-haul holidays: £125 per person

Cancellation policy

How do I cancel my First Choice holiday? 

Holidays can be cancelled or amended via Manage My Booking. Here is a video guide if you need more assistance.

Can I get a refund on my First Choice holiday?

All package holidays cancelled more than 14 days before departure do qualify for a refund to some degree. Unfortunately, First Choice does not disclose how much that refund will be.

Given their cancellation process is exactly the same for First Choice as it is at TUI, we can assume the refund policy will be the same. If your holiday flight is operated by TUI, you can expect one of the following refunds: 

• 70 days or more before travel: Loss of full deposit
• 69 - 63 days before travel: 30% of total booking price
• 62 - 49 days before travel: 50% of total booking price
• 48 - 29 days before travel: 70% of total booking price
• 28 - 15 days before travel: 90% of total booking price
• 14 - 0 days before travel: 100% of total booking price

Just like at TUI, if your flight is not operated by TUI then the refund will be a case-by-case basis.

What is the difference between First Choice and TUI?

First Choice is a British travel agency and tour operator. They are a subsidiary of the TUI Group after they were purchased in March 2007.

They offer a lot of the same services with slight differences. Which is better comes down to personal preference, unless you are in the NHS. Then you should book with TUI for the NHS discount.

What is a multi centre holiday?

First Choice multi centre holidays combine two or more destinations within a single trip. If you think booking package holidays is way more convenient, wait until you see how much nicer it is to leave flights and accommodation booking between multiple destinations up to First Choice.
